CW2 Francisco Javier Ruiz G?ez

CW2 Ruiz was born in Lima, Peru on 13 February 1965.
He entered the Army in 1986 and?served as a helicopter repairman at Fort Rocker-Alabama. He was selected to attend the Warrant Officer Candidate Course, and he graduated from Flight School as a UH-60 pilot in 1990. He served with the 9th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment,101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) during Operation Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia and at Fort Campbell. He also served with the 1st Battalion, 501st Aviation, 17th Aviation Brigade in Korea. CW2 Ruiz was assigned to A Company, 9th Battalion,101st Aviation Regiment on 11 August 1995 and served there until his death on 18 June 1996.
